If you have a 1 gig USB stick and a little time , it is possible to make it boot Knoppix.
Your computer must be set to boot usb first. If you cannot boot usb
from the bios there is a workaround. This is a fairly simple process.
First you need to make the usb stick bootable FAT not FAT32 or NTFS,
the second thing is to copy all the files from the knoppix 4.0
distribution to the stick. Third you need to copy loadlin to the drive.
and forth you need to create a text file named autoexec.bat containing
the line “loadlin /boot/isolinux/linux initrd=/boot/isolinux/minirt.gz
knoppix lang=en” (without the qoutes) and copy it to the usb stick. Yes
you can copy and paste from this text.knoppix: boot knoppix from pen usb pen drive
